A single dose of ephedra
can boost your metabolism, increase your energy and strength and curb your
appetite. Aside from all the facts you have to know about this supplement, the
right ephedra dosage is also essential so you’ll know when enough is enough.
How to Dose Ephedra?
1st Week: Your
best dosage depends on what your goals and personal wants are. But, experts
agree that you should always start taking it in small amounts, preferably no
more than 8 mg 3 times a day, 30-45 minutes before a meal or training during
your first 2 weeks. You have to closely observe the possible effects you may
experience.
2nd or 3rd
Weeks: You may now increase the ephedrine dose to 16 mg 2-3 times a day. This
way, you’re slowly building up your lenience for the results, particularly the
central nervous system stimulation effects.
During the next week or
two, take it up to 24 mg 2-3 times a day. Taking more than this dosage is not
advised.
If you’re using
caffeine along with your ephedrine: Start with 100 mg of caffeine anhydrous. As
you slowly start to increase your ephedra dose, increase the caffeine dosage to
200 mg. Whether you’re piling or stacking these 2 ingredients collectively or
running ephedra alone, it is best to stay at the highest dosage level for at
least 2 to 3 weeks. Then, take a break from ephedra for approximately 3 to 4
weeks. Doing so permits your body to retune itself and the ephedra dosages willcontinue working properly after you’ve started running it again.
Keep in mind that this
suggested ephedra dosage is not fixed. It can vary from one person to another
depending on the person’s present condition. To know more about how to
correctly dose ephedra, it would be best to consult with your doctor before
taking it.
